Less than a month now until Raising the Rent hits the virtual shelves, and we already have this lovely review from Katinka of Boys in Our Books:
If you figure that very little can go wrong with a May-December romance between a rent boy and his client who one day turns out to be – sensation and scandal! – his erudite English professor, you’re right… a gently flowing love story that may or may not have made me reread it the minute I finished it. Recommended? Yes, luv! – 4.5 stars
Raising the Rent is due out from Samhain Publishing on 14th October 2014
and now available to pre-order:

JL Merrow is that rare beast, an English person who refuses to drink tea. She read Natural Sciences at Cambridge, where she learned many things, chief amongst which was that she never wanted to see the inside of a lab ever again. Her one regret is that she never mastered the ability of punting one-handed whilst holding a glass of champagne.
She writes across genres, with a preference for contemporary gay romance and the paranormal, and is frequently accused of humour.
