The Plumber’s Mate Mysteries are back

…well, almost! I’m absolutely delighted to say that books #1 to #5 – yes, including the new one, Lock Nut, which readers of the previous books may be interested to hear features a wedding or two – are all now up for pre-order at Riptide.

Only teaser covers so far, but I can’t wait to show you the final versions – so much thought has gone into them, and they’re perfect for the series. Fabulous job by Christine Coffee!

Publication dates and pre-order links as follows:

A collection of books #1 – #4 is also available to pre-order, at a reduced price compared to buying the books individually. (You won’t get books #2 – #4 any earlier than the dates above, though, I’m afraid.)

And the brand new Plumber’s Mate Mystery, Lock Nut, will be out on 14 May, 2018:

LockNut_TeaserStill waters run deadly.

Tom Paretski, plumber with a talent for finding hidden things, and his private investigator fiancé Phil Morrison have been hired to locate a runaway husband, Jonathan Parrot. The job seems simple enough—until their quarry turns up dead in a canal, and a photofit of Tom’s face is splashed all over the news, making him chief suspect.

The widow, petite ex–porn star Lilah Lovett, is convinced her husband was killed by his gay lover, but Tom and Phil aren’t so sure. Worried they may have precipitated Jonathan’s death, they’re determined to find the real killer. But with a web of incestuous ties linking the suspects, it’s hard to know who to trust. Especially when a second victim dies a gruesome death.

Meanwhile, with their wedding looming and them sharing a house now, Tom’s worried it may all be too much, too fast. The last thing he needs are the mixed messages Phil seems to be sending out. They’ll need to get back on the same track if they want to make it to their honeymoon together—and alive.

Due out from Riptide Publishing on 14 May, 2018

and now available to pre-order

JL Merrow is that rare beast, an English person who refuses to drink tea. She read Natural Sciences at Cambridge, where she learned many things, chief amongst which was that she never wanted to see the inside of a lab ever again. Her one regret is that she never mastered the ability of punting one-handed whilst holding a glass of champagne. She writes across genres, with a preference for contemporary gay romance and the paranormal, and is frequently accused of humour. Find JL Merrow online at: www.jlmerrow.com

Exciting news!! Can’t wait to pick up the new versions. (Are there plans for any audio editions? I’d love to hear Tom’s voice with narration. His POV is so great!)
